The room was well decorated with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave, and a refrigerator.

Stunning location, top-class staff, stunning views of the town. Outstanding and fine food, excellent service. Free parking onsite provided. Everything really good. The nicest place to stay when traveling to Paekakariki.

The room at Finns Paekakariki was high-class, neat, and complete with a spa bath, balcony, and a comfortable king-sized bed. The hotel's location was convenient, being near a bar/restaurant, accommodation options, dairies, cafes.

Lovely getaway from the city, with clean and spacious rooms, friendly hosts, and a beautiful balcony to soak in the scenery. Plus, a spa bath for post-hike relaxation. Cons: None, everything was absolutely perfect!

difficult to establish who to approach when booking in, ended up at the bar and got sorted from there. Not enough information on the protocol of booking out etc. As the weather was inclement on Sunday morning we left early, could find no one to pay or leave the key with, left it back in the room eventually. would have been good to have an information sheet with options listed.

Convienient and quiet

The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. I enjoyed the great shower and balcony with furniture to take in the beautiful scenery. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel had great WIFI signal. It was also conveniently located near a small cinema and transportation.

The rooms were very clean and new, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is 2 minutes from beautiful scenic beach, good for walking and great coffee shop across the road. Close to local train station.

dining was not great (noisy, damned TV, sports bar,) food was very average but then we only had one meal.

I recently stayed at this 4-star hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and gave me excellent service throughout my stay. They went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed and made me feel valued as a guest. The location of the hotel was also very convenient, being close to a train line, which made it easy for me to explore the area. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities I could ask for, including tea and coffee facilities and a comfortable sitting area. the hotel provided enhanced comfort and quality services.

We stayed two nights and were impressed with the spacious and well-equipped rooms at Finns. The owner-operated establishment provided excellent service and good value. Despite the adjacent train station, the rooms were well soundproofed, ensuring a peaceful stay. The easy access to the Wellington motorway was convenient for early morning ferry departures. we highly recommend this place for its great accommodations.

We did experience a minor inconvenience during our stay. Our room was not cleaned after the first night and we had to call to request replenishment of toiletries.

The room was spacious, nicely decorated and modern. The spa bath was absolutely devine. The food in the restaurant was really nice and although it was a busy night, I received prompt and excellent service. Staff were very helpful, accommodating and I felt welcome. Also the room was really quiet considering the building was near the main road and train station.
